An upright keel template designed for more traditional fish shapes – in particular the Red Baron. A wide base with plenty of area delivers a huge amount of drive and extra control to short, manoeuvrable boards when pushed harder, especially on rail out on the open face. Less rake than other high area keel fins helps to pivot in tight pockets, complementing everything you want to be easy in fishes and fun boards. Our JS…

The JS Thruster Fin is built with the updated new Epoxy Carbon Foam core technology, its wider base provides incredible amounts of instant acceleration, grip, and projection down the line. The constant flex and fast response of the Epoxy-Carbon maintain release out of the lip and through turns. One of the lightest fin sets on the market. Our JS Industries x MFC Hawaii collaboration is one of the only fin constructions in the surfing world…

Our quad trailer fins are a primary option for all 5 plug boards. Their 50/50 foil gives control and facilitates turns whilst also giving speed in a variety of wave conditions from pumping to small waves. Available in FCSII and Single Tab. Our HydroGlass fins are made with polyester resin and 34 layers of glass. This construction is great for generating speed and providing drive. The consistent flex allows for smooth rail-to-rail surfing during turns…

The first set of keels I rode were on a Skip Frye fish around the time we were filming Seedling – they were hand foiled Larry Gephart fins that I think were referred to as ‘straight backs’. Basically, they looked like plywood that someone cut out and foiled; they were beautiful. And that’s what originally sparked my imagination as far as fishes and keels go.  I got into experimenting with variety of fish shapes shortly…

We’re excited to release the new TW Tri, a low-raked template designed for traditional power surfing, a sort of throwback to the 80s where speed, flow and style were king.

A series of fins designed by one of the greatest surfboard craftsmen of all time… need we say more? Straight forward, clean lines and classic curves are the name of the game here.

Lovelace’s take on a traditional style keel, this template beautifully compliments the art of riding a twin fin.

Our line of L-Flex fins, designed by Greg Liddle, were originally intended to be paired with the ‘modified displacement hull’ surfboards he became famous for pioneering. Precision foils and a fine tuned amount of flex were, and still are an integral component of the functionality in these fin designs.
