We are surfboard specialists who can’t resist building up an awesome quiver for shredding all summer and all winter no matter the size or conditions. That is why we have more than 200 surfboards in our shop along with an extensive range of wetsuits, surfboard fins, bags, and all the accessories you need to have fun in the sea. In addition, we offer free shipping for all orders over $50 NZ-wide. Vertigo was founded over 20 years ago and has been NZ rider owned and operated ever since. Because of this, you can trust us to know our stuff! We will find the right surfboard, SUP board, skateboard….basically anything board! for you. We love trying out new toys and building up quivers! Vertigo Surf first opened its doors in 1995, focusing on supplying quality surf product to the people of  Taranaki which over time has expanded to delivering the same quality of service nation wide . Jono Heath

The founding father of Vertigo Surf. Jono is just as at home on the snowboard as the surfboard, in fact give him anything thats remotely shaped like a board and he will ride it. His personal board quiver expands at a rate of 3 to 4 boards a year. Jono’s desire to get amongst it and pick the dodgy line has endeared him to his mates and locals alike. If you see someone taking off deep and getting a hiding or barely making it, chances are its Jono.

Kath TeUa

Kath she loves the mountain. Her biggest buzz now is riding with Timi and Moana. Kath started snowboarding in the States when she was 19 years old. After six seasons in Ohakune Kath moved to Oakura to be closer to the sea. Kath introduced Tomboy to Vertigo. A good lady who always speaks her mind.
